I've GOT TO DO THINGS MY OWN WAY.
"Over the years I have learned that what is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it."
- Yves Saint Laurent
Fashion is such a funny thing. Its the way you visually present yourself to the world. It'sconnected to how we feel about ourselves and it can reflect the way that we feel inside. Having loved fashion my entire life, the thing that made me realize my depression had gotten out of hand was 1. I didn't want to shower (EW I know.) and 2) Every single outfit of mine would be jeans and a T-shirt. I AM NOT A JEANS AND TSHIRT GIRL. I'm most definitely a shows up to someone else's office holiday party wearing a latex dress kind of girl.
I always feel my most confident when I'm wearing an outfit that I've put together. I think it's in the ritual of putting together an outfit thats reflecting who I am and what I'm feeling in that exact moment. As you'll see with my personal style, I like to keep it fluid, just like me.
