Turtlenecks are my JAM. It's funny because I distinctly remember absolutely hated anything on my neck when I was younger. Turtlenecks were forced upon me by my parents and were anything but stylish at the ripe age of twelve. I mean when you're prepubescent with pimply skin and frizzy curls, there's not a whole lot that's looking cute.
Alas, fast forward to now, me without a covered neck is a rare sighting. In celebration of neck-warmth and always looking cozy chic, I've rounded up my favorite turtlenecks in all my favorite styles for you!
the layering turtleneck
Dropping temperatures mean a serious increase in layers. These turtlenecks go perfectly under dresses that you'd like to transition into winter-appropriate as well as under jackets that you sport under your huge ass puffer.
the statement turtleneck
Just because it's called a sweater doesn't mean you're limited to covering up. Make a bold statement with a turtleneck that begs the question, "Are you sure you're not cold wearing that???"
the turtleneck dress
The turtleneck does not limit itself to just tops! Throw your turtleneck dress over thigh high boots. Beware though - the space between the bottom of the dress and top of the boots may be ~chilly~.
the rollneck turtleneck
The bigger (the neckline) the better! Pair with boyfriend jeans and booties for the winter version of model off duty.
